Une nouvelle émission qui fait la part belle aux nouveautés. En premier le coup de coeur du mois avec le deuxième disque du Marcus King Band produit par Warren Haynes de Government Mule, un mélange de soul Blues avec des accents southern Rock dans la lignée des premiers Allmann Brothers Band, un vrai régal. Deuxième disque celui de Nico Duportal & His Rhythm Dudes « Dealing with my Blues » sorti cette année et arrivé dans le trio de tête du classement Power Blues de novembre du CRB, un vrai dique de danse avec ces accents west Coast Blues des guitares magnifiques !
Au programme également le Starlite Campbell Band une formation composé de musiciens britanniques et espagnols avec un blues nerveux et bien senti comme on les aime. Dernière nouveauté le « Bonafide » de Teresa James & The Rhythmn Tramps un bel opus dans la lignée de Bonnie Raitt ou Delbert Mc Clintion du blues greasy at groovy.
Un petit passage par le Gospel et le Low down blues du Heritage Blues Orchestra autour de ses trois vocalistes, Junior Mack, Bill et Chaney Sims et d’uen excellente section de cuivres.
